He was famous before any of this
Juhoon is probably the most recognisable pre-debut member of the five. He worked as a child model, and a lot of his modelling partners from back then are idols now, including MEOVV’s Ella and Gyuri. He was in what felt like every advert, and he appeared in a Zion.T music video.
He also came close to playing football professionally and trained in Spain for a while. Then he decided to focus on school instead, and he was very good at it.
How HYBE got him
HYBE started pursuing him and he said no. So the company sent Keonho to talk to him. He met the other members, and that is what changed his mind.
He was the last one to join and had the shortest training period of anyone in the group, and he caught up fast. Now he helps with producing, composing and writing, and sometimes with the choreography.
The quiet one with the TED Talk
He is easily the chillest member. He gets energetic too, especially on stage, but most of the time he is calm. He is not the talkative type, and then you ask him one question and suddenly there is a full TED Talk ready to go.
The members say he also has a dangerous side, and they mean it as a compliment. He is the quiet person who catches you off guard: you expect something simple and he drops the most unexpected comment imaginable, then goes back to looking unbothered. They also say he is a genuinely great roommate, because being around him is easy.
His private life is still mostly a mystery. Even the members find out new things about him constantly.
