How the CORTIS photobooth works

This is a free online CORTIS photobooth: a photo strip where every shot already has a member in it, so you can take your pic with CORTIS without leaving your room. Choose a frame, add your photos, and download a strip ready for your story, your lock screen or your printer.

1. Pick a frame

There are frames for each member, so you can make a strip with just Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon or Keonho, frames with the whole group where a different member joins every shot, and frames for TWINSKY and VISUALZ. Styles go from soft focus and sticker pop to 35mm film, editorial, chrome, a receipt, magazine covers, and GREENGREEN and REDRED colours.

2. Take your photos or upload old ones

Use your phone’s front camera or your webcam with a three second countdown, or upload photos you took before. You can mix both, and retake or replace any single shot.

3. Make it yours

Your photo fills the whole shot, so you can stand next to them, lean in or hug them. Turn on hug mode to appear in front of the member with your arm around them, and drag the member closer or make them bigger. Tap a shot to choose which pose of which member stands next to you, or upload your own CORTIS photo. Or start from Create your own to design the frame yourself, with your own layout, colour and text. Then add a filter and download.

Questions

Is the CORTIS photobooth free?

Yes. There is no sign up and no watermark. Pick a frame, add your photos and download the strip.

Can I upload a photo I already took?

Yes. Tap Upload photos and pick one or more pictures from your gallery or computer. They fill the shots in order, and you can tap any shot to replace just that one. You do not have to use the camera at all.

Can I make my own photobooth frame?

Yes. Choose Create your own to pick the layout (a 4-photo strip, a 2 by 2 grid, 2 photos or 1 photo), the style, the colour and the text on your strip.

Can I use my own CORTIS photos?

Yes. In Who is in this shot, tap Upload your own CORTIS photo. A PNG with the background already removed goes in next to you like the others, and any other photo goes in as a little polaroid in the corner of your shot. You can also upload a CORTIS photo as the shot itself.

Can I hug the members or pose like a couple?

Yes. Your photo fills the whole shot, so you can stand wherever you like. Choose Me in front (hug mode) and the photobooth cuts you out of your own photo and puts you in front of the member, so your arm can go around them. While the camera is on, the member shows up see-through so you can see where to stand. Then use Move and resize the member to bring them as close as you want.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. The camera feed, your photos and the finished strip are all made inside your browser. Nothing is sent to this site or anyone else, and it all disappears when you close the page.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It uses your front camera on phones and your webcam on computers. If your browser asks for camera access, tap allow. If the camera will not open, use Upload photos instead.

How do I get the best photo?

Stand in good light, facing a window if you can, and leave space on the side opposite the member so the two of you do not overlap. Take them all with a countdown gives you three seconds before every shot.

Can I choose which member is in each photo?

Yes. Tap a shot, then pick any of the poses of Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, Keonho, TWINSKY or VISUALZ under Who is in this shot. Shuffle poses gives you a new random set, and you can put the member on the left, the right or alternate.
